This is a Euro 6 Cummins retrofitted MAN 18.240 Enviro 300 with a 4 speed voith box.

A little bit of history for those interested, 22878 was new to Stagecoach’s Fife garage for their 19 service, running between Ferrytoll and Ballingry. It was then passed to CMNL’s Morecambe operation in 2016 for use on their services before finally being moved to Carlisle for its last stint of service in 2019. When transferred to Carlisle, it received a full new Cummins engine, to reduce emissions and improve reliability. It was stood down in March 2025 and then sold to us via City Transport of the North East.
