18/10/2024 Update

Today we ventured over to Barnsley as we’d not been in a while, we’ve managed to come back with loads as always! We’ve managed to fully retrim 21158 (with the exception of the back row) to get rid of that horrendous Velvet moquette, as you can see from how much it’s faded it’s made the world of difference to the interior. I should add, this is only a temporary measure until we get it retrimmed into Stagecoach Chevron.

Luck was clearly on our side, because after climbing through several vehicles we managed to get on 22326, whichever despite being buried within the depths of PVS for 7 or so years, still had a fully functional side blind, which are becoming fewer and far between that fit the ALX 300s. So 158 now has had all its blinds reinstated. We’ve also ordered pole paint, so hopefully in the next few weeks we can reinstate her original red poles, completing the stagecoach look!

Seen as Dafty is officially our show bus now, I decided to treat Jamie to a little surprise, fitting her with a nice set of colour changing LEDs inside, the nearside has been fitted, sadly food was calling so the offside will be fitted another day
