The weekend round up
π»ππ πππππππ πππππ ππ!
I thought Iβll combine everything into 1 post so weβre not spamming your feeds. Saturday saw us take 3 of our fleet to the annual twilight running night from North West Vehicle Restoration Trust! We had a really good time with 69154, 4515 and 21158, and made for some good shots in lighting the buses rarely get used in. For those who didnβt see, weβve had the back row retrimmed on 158 too, into chevron and it looks absolutely stunning! So looking forward to getting the rest done! We had some nice busy trips, especially with the B10s which is always nice to see.
For those who didnβt join us on 21158s return journey back to the NWVRT, I apologise for the slightly bumpy trip to Headbolt Lane, for some reason the bus didnβt raise its suspension, was soon sorted for its return which obviously was a lot smoother, so I apologise if your spine was shattered π
Sunday saw us head up to Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester for their 200 years of buses, the present day event. There was several other visiting vehicles there, including 22398 | MX06 LUH, which made for a lovely evening shot with the B7. Unfortunately we had to demic the B7 which was supposed to be doing runs as on the way to Manchester this morning, the exhaust manifold started to blow, as much as it sounds βlargeβ and we wanted to take her out, it wasnβt worth it as it just sounded silly. Weβre getting the B7 in for a service in the next few weeks so that will be addressed then to keep her on the road.
Still we made for a nice static exhibit in the lower hall, a privilege not many people get. A massive thank you at both events to everyone who came over and spoke to us, had a ride on our buses and got photos and videos! It means the world to see everyone enjoying our buses
